The Ukrainian parliament called on the European Commission、 European Parliament、Council of the European Union and the World Trade Organisation to demand sanctions on timber from Russia and Belarus, as well as fish and seafood from the Russian Federation. This was announced by Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko on his Telegram channel.
In addition, the Parliament requires that the sale, supply, transfer, export and lease of equipment and components for logging and wood processing, as well as fishing and processing fish and seafood, are prohibited from being sold, supplied, transferred, and leased to the Russian Federation and Belarus. In addition, the parliament also demanded that the maintenance of such equipment be prohibited and refused to recognise all certificates of Russian products with environmental certification systems still in operation in the Russian Federation.
